We had a good visit this morning with L4 today to Artsite-3 art studios for a tour and talk by recent graduate Jim Reid about his current public commission in the alley next to the Cider Museum, for which we have revived a community grant from Heineken. Also a great opportunity to see some of the other fantastic artists in the studios, and chat about their work and life after art school as artists in Hereford.

After this we headed to the Apple Store gallery next door to get the first peak of previous graduate Angela Holden’s new work – a collection of abstract paintings inspired by a boat yard.

Both of the trips are linked to prizes awarded to last year’s graduates as James won the Artsite-3 prize of a sponsored studio for a year (what a great prize!) and Angela won the Apple Store award of a solo show.
