CMYK, A festival of Print and Illustration at Hereford College of Arts

CMYK Festival was started in 2019 by the BA Illustration course leaders, Neil Hadfield and Nicholas Stevenson at Hereford College of Arts. CMYK 2024 will be a celebration of print and illustration, featuring a market place, workshops for all ages and guest speakers.

The festival aims to bring together the public, students, graduates, local and national print makers and leading practitioners to strengthen the illustration community in the West Midlands and beyond.

Talks & Workshops:

Tilly Bancroft

Tilly Bancroft, Bafta nominated producer and animator, will be discussing her recent short film ‘Visible Mending’. 11.30AM (FREE)

Murugiah

Murugiah is a multi-disciplinary artist, illustrator and designer. Using a colourfully surreal visual aesthetic, he playfully explores the macabre and bittersweet experience of his daily life and identity. 3.30PM (FREE)

    Other Information

    CMYK will take place at Hereford College of Arts
    at our College Road campus (not Folly Lane) in a
    beautiful red brick Victorian building. This is where
    our Masters, Foundation and Degree programmes are
    based. The marketplace will live in our main hall with the talks and workshops taking place across the campus.

    We are about a 15 minute walk from Hereford Train
    Station and Bus Station. We are easily reachable by
    road.

    Limited free Parking will be available on-site at HCA College Road.
    There is just a short walk through a courtyard to the
    marketplace.

    We have a fantastic cafeteria at HCA which will be open during the festival, as well as a visiting Belgian waffle stand. We’re also a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive from the city centre, with it’s wealth of food options.
