Our one-day winter workshops offer a chance to make something memorable by hand. With seven different options, you can pick a session to suit your interest, and spend a full day learning something new. These workshops make excellent early gifts or give you a day to create something thoughtful for someone special. Choose from four unique workshops to suit your style.

Make a Silver Ring

With HCA BA Jewellery Design Graduate, Jade Kondal. £80.

Learn the basics of silversmithing in our specialized small metals studio and craft a stunning silver ring (or two!) to take home.

 

Make a Glass-Fused Christmas Decoration

With glass and ceramic technical demonstrator Bryony Burn. £70.

This session allows you to explore the magic of glass-fusing - using layered sheet glass and heat to create wonderful unique pieces. This course allows you to make multiple decorations, including one more detailed piece.

 

Linocut Christmas Cards

With HCA BA Contemporary Design Craft Graduate, Freya Bain. £60.

Learn the art of lino printing and create unique, hand-crafted Christmas cards for your loved ones. This session takes place in our specialist print workshop.

 

Creative Writing

With writer, Kate Garrett. £40.

Whether you want to write meaningful holiday cards or dive into storytelling, this workshop in our library gives you the space to start.
