Course Overview


This dynamic printmaking course takes you on a creative journey through a variety of exciting techniques. You'll start by exploring simple yet impactful methods like Foam Stamping, then move on to more complex processes such as Monoprinting and Drypoint, where you'll learn to create intricate designs with rich textures.

As the course progresses, you'll dive into Lino cutting and reduction, mastering the art of layering colors and patterns. There’s also an opportunity to experiment with Rubber Stamping or revisit techniques you’ve enjoyed. You’ll discover the textural possibilities of Collagraph and the eco-friendly approach of Tetra Pak printing.

The course culminates in a mini exhibition, celebrating the unique and diverse prints you've created, offering a fantastic opportunity to showcase your newfound skills and creativity.

About the Tutor


Since graduating in 2021, Beth has worked as a freelance illustrator, specializing in digital collages made from handmade textures and found materials. Her work has been recognized in the AOI World Illustration Awards and Cheltenham Illustration Awards, and she has exhibited at the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists Print Prize Exhibition. Beth co-founded The Pencil Pot Club, offering art workshops and collaborating with clients like Birmingham Design Festival. Passionate about arts education, she incorporates play, collaboration, and skill-building in her teaching.

Venue, Times, Dates


All sessions will be held in the Textiles workshop at our Folly Lane Campus. Sessions will start at 6.30pm and will finish at approximately 9pm.

Term starts on 9th October. There will be 10 sessions, and there will be a half term break on the week of 28th October. All session dates listed below:
