Selection of Aylieff's large porcelain pots

Join us to hear Aylieff discuss her new body of work at Kew gardens, London, where she is exhibiting towering porcelain pieces over five meters tall. The latest in our 170 series - celebrating 170 years of creative education in Hereford.

Felicity Aylieff, artist and professor at the Royal College of Art in London, is renowned for creating dynamic hand-thrown and painted porcelain vessels on a grand scale.

Working in the city of Jingdezhen, China, (the ancient home of porcelain manufacture), Aylieff has developed enduring partnerships with teams of local experts. Such bonds have allowed Aylieff to realise her ambitions and push limits of porcelain, this most challenging and captivating of materials.
