Will Barrett selected for Bright New Gems 2024

Will Barrett has joined an illustrious list of former Bright New Gems that includes respected British designers such as Pippa Small, Fernando Jorge, Ruth Tomlinson, and Zeemou Zeng.

Organised by the National Association of Jewellers, competition judges range from major jewellery buyers at John Lewis to award-winning professional jewellers. 

Through the programme, Will secured a fully-funded place at The UK Jewellery Festival in London, showcasing his Curva, Rectangulum and Elysium collections. His work was also profiled in Retail Jeweller.

Will's Textured Circles collection - created for his HCA Degree Show and exhibited with the college at New Designers - explores texture in casting and the process of lost wax casting.
