Sue joined HCA in 2005, having worked previously in galleries and as a ceramicist. She completed her BA (Hons) Fine Art here in 2010 - her practice now ranges from fine art print to experimental video. She enjoys delivering exciting and experimental briefs, and building confidence and potential of her students.
After studying BA Fine Art and PGCE in Birmingham, Kay began working as an International Art teacher, including a role as Head of Art in Shanghai, completed a Master’s in Education in Bangkok. After graduating 20 years previously, Kay returned to HCA as Curriculum Leader of Art and Design.
Dermot joined HCA in 2008 after relocating from Liverpool. After 12 years teaching visual communication and 6 years working for a range of design and illustration companies, he was drawn to HCA's reputation as a specialist art college. Dermot also teaches on the BA (Hons) Artist Blacksmithing course
Sunny started his relationship with Hereford College of Arts as a student on the Foundation diploma in 1998. It was here that he discovered a love for silkscreen printing. This leading to his decision to study a BA Hons in Textile Design at Birmingham.
Alice graduated from Plymouth College of Art in 2013 with a BA(Hons) in Fine Art. After completing her Bachelors Degree, Alice studied a Master's Degree in Entrepreneurship for Creative Practice. In 2016 Alice completed a PGCE and has taught at HCA since.
Sally is a lecturer on Level 3 Art & Design and teaches the Sewing Bee evening class short course. She has a BA(hons) in Design Crafts and a DET further education teaching qualification.
Angelina has taught Contemporary Design Crafts and Fine Art across levels 2-6 at HCA for 18 years. They have established a design- and innovation-focused creative arts practice, creating sculptural contemporary craft/wearable art pieces. Angelina was selected as one of 26 participants in the Crafts Council HotHouse creative business programme.
