New Designers marks the beginning of a successful career for Mia Rowe
For her final project at HCA, Mia was awarded The Sir Roy Strong and Julia Trevelyan Oman HCA Award 2023 for Creativity. She then went on to exhibit at New Designers, where she was invited to exhibit as 'New Talent' at The Surface Design Show in London.

Graduate Rosie Merriman makes waves at Chanel and features in Vogue
Rosie graduated in 2023 after winning the Award for Studentship at the Degree Show. She then went from strength to strength, exhibiting at Llantarnum Grange Portal Exhibition, spotted at New Designers by the Kings Foundation and invited to interview for the prestigious Chanel and King’s Foundation Metier D’art Fellowship.

Inspired by the language of mechanical/industrial process and engineering, he uses this knowledge to innovate design solutions for the specialist automotive sector. James' personal practice is commissioned widely across the U.K.

Nick Joined HCA in 2005, working in the IT department as a Technical Demonstrator Specialist focusing on moving image, digital audio and screen based media. Nick has since joined our teaching team on Digital Futures and Interactive Media.
