Biography

I am an award-winning artist, illustrator, designer, animator, songwriter and digital content creator. I enjoyed studying my BA at Hereford College of Arts and have returned to teach alongside my creative practice.

With my students I particularly enjoy running live projects in collaboration with industry partners, helping them bridge the gap between the creative industries and their studies. I want to create students who can challenge the norms and go on to shape what’s next. I am particularly proud of the transformative learning experience that is CMYK Festival which I co-organise.

I have worked for clients such as Google Arts and Culture, The New York Times, Save The Children, The Washington Post, Bloomsbury, Little Brown and many more. A favourite project of mine is a storybook commissioned by Dell, Intel and Rolls Royce. The book entitled ‘I Will Always Be Me’ is aimed at people with Motor Neurone Disorder, and allows users to ‘bank’ their own voice as they read, creating a synthetic voice for the reader. The project was featured on the BBC breakfast show and the associated documentary won a Cannes Lion Award.

I once did the weather on the popular podcast Welcome to Nightvale
