Biography

In her role, Stephanie oversees in teaching, learning and quality improvement on Post-16 courses - as well the HCA's Careers services for students based on the Folly Lane campus.

Stephanie is the Teaching, Learning and Quality Improvement Lead across FE, working closely alongside the Xaviere Hughes, Vice Principal for FE. Her role is to provide strategic leadership in the development of inspiring, innovative and collaborative approaches in teaching, learning and quality improvement that results in students achieving the highest possible standards.

Stephanie has 20 years’ experience working in the Further Education sector having begun her career as a lecturer in Drama & Theatre studies at Amersham and Wycombe College in 2003. She went on to work in a variety of management roles within arts departments across several inner-city colleges in London.  Stephanie joined HCA in 2012 after relocating from London. She joined as Curriculum Leader for PA & Music, working on many exciting projects across the years  ‘I worked with fantastic colleagues and students, and thrived on the energy in PA and Music’. 

She lives in Garway Hill on a smallholding, with her family, including ponies, goats, sheep, chickens and geese.
