Olly Alexander found his feet as a creative at HCA back in 2008. This was the start of an incredible music and acting career, which kicked off with his success as the lead singer of Years and Years, achieving two UK number 1 albums and 10 UK Top 40 singles, for which he has recently been presented with the BRIT Billion award. He has since played the lead role in critically acclaimed series and winner of the Best New Drama at the National Television Awards 'It's a Sin' where he was also nominated for Best Leading Actor at the BAFTAs for his performance.

Olly has headlined arenas and festivals worldwide and collaborated with the likes of Sir Elton John, Kylie Minogue and Pet Shop Boys, and earlier this year represent the UK at Eurovision in Malmo.

Current music student Harry Cummings says "Doing the same course as Olly means you feel like you can also achieve that level of success. Going to a college that specialises in performing arts, it gives you the opportunity to spread your wings and achieve your dreams."

Olly recently gave an interview with the BBC where he discussed how his time at HCA shaped him as a performer. Listen here
