We are looking for an Outreach and Student Recruitment Officer to be a passionate champion of the college and creative careers, helping coordinate events, workshops and programmes that inspire the next generation of arts students.

UPTO £24,081 PER ANNUM

The Outreach and Student Recruitment Officer is one of the most prominent public-facing positions in the college. Working with colleagues, the post holder will be essential to the delivery of programmes and events that raise the profile of our courses, our college and the arts among a new generation of creative students and external stakeholders.

The outreach team is the central point of contact for potential students, and a key source of information on HCA’s courses, culture and creative education.  The role will include talking to students at UCAS fairs, presenting confidently to groups of staff and potential students, visiting key feeder schools and colleges and organising on-site taster sessions with academic staff.   Travel will be an element of the role, as will occasional Saturday and Evening working.

You will need to be an excellent communicator and confident in maintaining and building relationships with key stakeholders at feeder schools and colleges so we can tailor activities to their needs.

We are looking for someone who can be a champion of the college and support staff to deliver memorable presentations and communications. Past experience delivering creative workshops would be an added bonus, however the majority of subject-specific outreach workshops will be led by academic staff or students.

While this is a full-time role, we would consider alternatives such as job shares, for the right candidate.
